Syllabus
Students are expected and must participate in class.
If your e-mail address changes, you need to let the school know as soon as possible.
Materials for all classes: pencils (only), spiral notebook, protractor, straight edge or ruler, loose leaf paper. Notes are required to be taken every day in a spiral notebook. This notebook is not to be shared with other classes. Algebra I and II students need a graphing calculator.
EXCUSED ABSENCES: Work can be made up if your absence is excused.
UNEXCUSED ABSENCES: The student will not be allowed to make the work up for the days not excused.
Assignments are due on the day of the deadline!
LATE WORK will not be accepted. If you do the work assigned, you will not need extra credit; therefore, EXTRA CREDIT is not given.
The school has a tardy policy. We will follow the school policy.
Students are not to stand in the hall or doorway. They should come into the room, sharpen their pencils or do what is necessary before the bell rings. Students should be in their seats when the last bell rings to begin class.
Students are expected to be on time. Students are given enough time to go to the bathroom before class begins. The student should not come into class and then ask to go. Late entrance disrupts the class and causes the student to miss the introduction.
Students must bring two number 2 pencils, loose leaf paper for classwork and homework that is to be turned in, their textbook, and a spiral notebook to class everyday.
I will collect papers that are to be evaluated and place them in the basket marked with the students class period, the students should take the graded papers, and papers indicating work they missed when they were absent. They should take out only corrected papers and papers with their names on them. Students are not to put papers in the basket!! All papers put in the basket will be thrown out.
Grading:
A 90%-!00%
B 80%-89%
C 70%-79%
D 60%-69%
Everyone should respect himself/herself and others. No gum!! No fighting, using profanity, no interrupting others or making fun of another person.

By being on the attendance roster for Ms. Curry 's class, I am indicating that my parent/guardian and I accept the stipulations as written in this contract.
We are presently a College Board School and therefore we have certain guidelines we must follow. Please put forth good effort and be present daily.
